Data protection officer

The data controller may designate a data protection officer. Such a designation releases the controller from the obligation to notify data processing operations. However, it does not exempt the controller from entering prior requests for processing operations that require a prior authorization.

The conditions for becoming and being a data protection officer are determined by article 40 of the amended Act of 2 August 2002 and by the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 27 November 2004.
