From 30 March to 2 April 2026, the CNPD participated in the IAPP Global Summit 2026 in Washington, DC, a major international event dedicated to privacy and data protection. The Chair of the CNPD, Ms Tine A. Larsen, represented the Luxembourg supervisory authority at the summit.
The event brought together 42 representatives of data protection authorities, as well as U.S. officials responsible for privacy enforcement, federal representatives, members of Congress, and commissioners of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Discussions focused on data protection priorities, the U.S. legislative agenda, and prospects for international cooperation.
This participation highlights the CNPD’s commitment to international dialogue and to strengthening cooperation between supervisory authorities.
