Since 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) is directly applicable in all Member States of the European Union and to organisations that are active on the European Union territory.
The new regulation strengthens existing rights of individuals, grants them new rights and gives them greater control over their personal data.
