The CNPD participates in the Spring Conference 2026 in Antalya

The CNPD participated in the Spring Conference 2026, the European conference of data protection authorities, held from 5 to 8 May 2026 in Antalya, Turkey.

Each year, the Spring Conference brings together data protection authorities from European Union Member States and Council of Europe countries to discuss topics of common interest relating to the protection of personal data and privacy.

The 2026 edition was organised by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK). Discussions notably focused on artificial intelligence, children’s data, international data flows, as well as the future of data protection authorities.

At the end of the conference, several resolutions were adopted by the participating authorities, including:

  • a resolution on the creation of a “Cooperation Sub-Group” aimed at strengthening exchanges and cooperation between authorities;
  • a resolution concerning the accreditation of the State Audit Office of Georgia;
  • a resolution concerning the accreditation of the Austrian Parliamentary Data Protection Committee.

The CNPD’s participation in this conference reflects its ongoing commitment at European and international level in the field of data protection.
