The CNPD took part in the EDPB High-Level Meeting in Dublin

On 16 and 17 July 2026, the CNPD took part in the High-Level Meeting of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), hosted in Dublin by the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC).

The CNPD was represented by Commissioner Florent Kling, accompanied by Victor Bojko, European and International Relations Officer.

Following the meeting, the EDPB notably called on the European Commission to propose a clear legal basis enabling the sharing of information, including confidential information, between regulators with different competences operating in adjacent areas of EU law. The data protection authorities also discussed ways to strengthen the consistent enforcement of the GDPR by deepening their cooperation and pooling their resources, against a backdrop of a growing number and increasing complexity of complaints, particularly in connection with the rise of artificial intelligence.
