Inaugural Conference on 11 March 2014 in the auditorium of BGL BNP Paribas

Creation of an association on data protection

The first association on privacy and data protection APDL ("Association pour la protection des données au Luxembourg") was established in Luxembourg on 23 October 2013. Its inaugural conference will be held on 11 March 2014.

The APDL welcomes members from various professional backgrounds who are confronted with data protection in their daily work. The members are mainly Data Protection Officers, IT security experts, compliance officers as well as lawyers and consultants.

The goal of the association is to promote an active community in the field of data protection in Luxembourg and in particular:

  1. to allow its members to share, communicate and to be represented before administrative and local regulators;
  2. to share information and knowledge regarding the protection of personal data through the organization of events, conferences and partnerships both locally and internationally; and
  3. to establish links with foreign organizations for data protection.

You are invited to join us March 11, 2014 at 17:00 in the auditorium of BGL BNP Paribas (27 avenue Monterey, at the corner of Royal Boulevard and Notre Dame in Luxembourg). Participation is free with registration (via the website APDL: www.apdl.lu).
