CNPD speaks at conference on data management and data protection

On 27 March, the CNPD took part in a conference on data management and data protection.

Jérôme Commodi, CNPD investigator, and Sadia Berdaï, CNPD legal expert, presented the issues surrounding artificial intelligence and data protection, as well as the CNPD's artificial intelligence regulatory sandbox. They also discussed DAAZ, the support tool that the CNPD is developing in collaboration with the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, National Cybersecurity Competence Center ("LHC-NC3"). The aim of the project is to provide SMEs with a simple, intuitive and free self-assessment tool enabling them to integrate the RGPD obligations into their business activities.

Abilways Luxembourg provided an opportunity for practitioners and interested parties to keep abreast of recent developments, both from a regulatory point of view and in terms of RGPD best practice. Hosted by Renaud Le Squeren, lawyer at DSM Avocats à la Cour, the event presented the latest challenges in security incident management, internal audit, US data transfers, etc.
