On 24 March, the CNPD will participate in the conference ‘GDPR Certification and Trust in the Age of AI’, organised at EY Luxembourg. The event will address major developments in data protection, GDPR certification and AI Act compliance.
The Commission will share its views on:
- the latest updates on data protection,
- the growing role of certification, particularly through European data protection labels,
- the CNPD's new responsibilities in implementing the EU AI Act.
At 11:10 a.m., Elena-Cristina Gerth, Head of the Trusted Devices Department at the CNPD, will give a presentation on the relationship between the two regulatory frameworks.
The programme will also include a presentation by Europrivacy, a panel of experts and concrete solutions to support organisations in achieving compliance.
