Swearing-in of two new alternate members of the CNPD Collegiate Body

Today, Philippe Ney, Chair of the CNPD, swore in Ms Carmen Schanck and Mr Steve Müller as alternate members of the CNPD Collegiate Body.

Ms Carmen Schanck, Attachée at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, and Mr Steve Müller, Attaché at the Ministry of the Economy, have been appointed alternate members of the CNPD Collegiate Body as of 1 November 2026, for a term of six years.

They succeed Mr François Thill and Mr Marc Hemmerling, whose terms as alternate members have come to an end. The CNPD warmly thanks them for their commitment and valuable contribution to the work of the Collegiate Body throughout their mandate.

Alternate members step in for the full members of the Collegiate Body when they are unable to attend, thereby ensuring the continuity of the authority’s work.

The CNPD welcomes Ms Schanck and Mr Muller and looks forward to working with them.
