The CNPD is participating in the Privacy Symposium in Venice from May 12 to 16, 2025.
Alain Herrmann, Commissioner at CNPD, will participate in the following panels:

- AI and Data Regulatory Sandboxes
- Supporting International Convergence and Interoperability in Data Protection Certification
Elena-Cristina Gerth, Head of the Certifications and Codes of Conduct Department, will attend the following panels:
- Bridging Compliance and Financial Market
- Resilient and Secure Cloud Criteria and Unlocking Data Flows
- European Data Protection Seal Certifications - Lessons Learned and Evolution
Regina Decoville from the Third Country Transfers Department will participate in the panel titled International Data Transfers: Navigating GDPR-Compliant Cross-Border Data Flows.
Jérôme Commodi, Project Manager at CNPD, is also present at the event to promote DAAZ, CNPD's online tool to help with GDPR compliance. Acronym for "Data Accountability from A to Zen," DAAZ provides startups and small and medium-sized enterprises with a simple, intuitive, and free online tool to integrate their GDPR obligations as data controllers or processors in their activities.
The symposium on privacy protection and data governance aims to promote international dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge sharing on data governance, regulatory compliance, and innovative technologies.
