The Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy Service (SMC), in partnership with MyConnectivity GIE and numerous institutional stakeholders, announced the launch of the "YourConnectivity Box" during a press conference held on December 8, 2025.
The "YourConnectivity Box": a practical guide for secure and transparent connectivity
This initiative is part of the national ultra-high-speed strategy aimed at promoting accessible, transparent, and secure connectivity for everyone. The "YourConnectivity Box" is an innovative tool designed to help citizens manage their digital services and protect their personal data. It provides clear answers to a range of questions grouped into four essential themes:
- Manage services: compare offers, understand contracts, and avoid hidden fees.
- Build defenses: secure passwords, enable two-factor authentication, and protect devices.
- Spot threats: identify scams, check suspicious emails, and block fraudulent calls.
- Get help: access free mediation services and report fraud without fear.
Accessible via myco.lu/box, the toolkit offers simple guides, refers to official Luxembourgish tools (e.g., CheckMyNet, StopSMS.lu, SmartCompare.lu), and provides practical advice for exercising rights related to telecommunications and data protection.
