You notice that information concerning you is inaccurate or irrelevant. Instead of requesting the erasure of the data, you prefer a restriction.
You shall have the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the following applies:
- you contest the accuracy of the personal data for a period enabling the controller to verify it;
- the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead;
- the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you need them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Where processing has been restricted, such personal data shall not be processed in any way. The restriction can be carried out in different ways (temporary move to another location, blocking of data, temporary removal of a website, etc.).
