  1. From Monday, 8 June 2020, the offices of the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) are transferred to the Naos building in Belval.

  2. During its 23rd plenary session, the EDPB adopted guidelines on the processing of health data for research purposes in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak and guidelines on geolocation and other tracing tools in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak.

  6. 28 January 2020: Data Protection Day

    On 28 January 2020, the CNPD participated in the Data Privacy Day, which is an annual event organized by the Restena Foundation and the University of Luxembourg in the framework of the Data Protection Day.

    On December 2nd and 3rd, the EEA Data Protection Authorities and the European Data Protection Supervisor, assembled in the European Data Protection Board, met for their sixteenth plenary session. During the plenary, several topics were discussed.

  9. From 21 to 24 October in Tirana (Albania)

    The 41st International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners took place in Tirana (Albania) from 21 to 24 October 2019.. The theme of the conference was "Convergence and connectivity: raising global data protection standards in the digital age".
